Bowling!

On Saturday morning we took the kids bowling. Everyone had a great time, Sophie and Maycee both had 2 strikes and were so excited!!


Everytime Mckay would roll the ball he would jump up like he had rolled his tenth strike, it was great to watch!

Robots!!

Saturday evening as we were getting ready for scriptures and family prayer Mckay came out of our room saying "I'm a robot, I'm a robot!" and all the other kids started following him around being robots!! Where does he come up with this stuff?

Its a new year!

I have a lot of goals for this new year, here are a few:

Be better at my scripture reading!
Finish getting all of my food storage and rotating what needs to be!
Being more patient!
And posting more on this blog so I can actually make a book this year!

For other news we have a new member of our family, since we have all of our babies and our kids have been begging us for a long time now we decided to make this the best Christmas ever and get a dog! I know us with a dog crazy right!! We are going to keep him we are not giving him back either!! All of the kids couldn't believe we actually got a dog! They all love him even Sophie(for those who don't know she is terrified of dogs)!! We could have only given them all the dog for Christmas and they would have been fine!!

Sherriff Woody is Back In Town!!

Dave was going through all of his Halloween stuff in the garage and found Hayden's old Woody costume he wore about 12 years ago and it fit Mckay Perfectly!! When Mckay saw the costume he said "You found my Woody costume!" It was just waiting for him!! He was supposed to be a dragon!

Here we are except for Hayden, he was to busy running around to take a picture, he was dressed as a nerd!

Just a side note two of my nephews came dressed as Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street and none of the other kids new who they were!! Where did we go wrong?

The Ghosts Came Out For Halloween!!

Sophie, Madison, and Maycee were ghosts for Halloween!

They were so cute running around! This year we went over to

Grandma and Grandpa's and had a harvest party with a trunk

or treat instead of the regular trick or treating! It was a lot of

fun to play with there cousins!!

They Grow So Fast!!

Mckay loves to watch Maggie and the Ferrocious beast and loves to play with my hair!

He is my baby and is growing very fast.

I'm not ready to let him grow up yet!

I still want my baby!!

People always tell you to enjoy your baby and I have enjoyed every minute of him.

But they are all getting big so fast that I need more time!!!

NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3!!!

There is a reason they put this on the lego package!! Mckay was playing with some legos and then started crying. I asked him what happened and he said "I hurt my nose". I picked him up and asked him where he said "in there" pointing inside. I said what happened and he said "a lego in it". Thats right five kids and the first lego up the nose. I looked in and could see the little red lego in there. The advice nurse told me to close the other nostril and blow in his mouth and that might blow it out. I tried but didn't blow hard enough and he wouldn't give me another chance. So as we were about to leave for the doctor and Dave got home he tried and the lego came shooting out of his nose. All is well now!! That is why they say not intended for children under 3.

Clean Shavin!!

Tonight we went over to a good friends house, their 7 year old son has cancer and his hair has almost all fallen out so for his birthday his mom had a party and most of the boys and men got their heads shaved with Ty!! Dave Hayden and Mckay were part of it!!!

The Firestation!!

Maycee, Mckay and I went to the firestation!! They loved it!! They both got to sit in the fire truck and drive it!! Maycee even got to spray the firehose!

Madison loves to knit and made these hats herself!

YUM!!! YUM!!! YUM!!! Dosen't get better than this, homemade bread!!

Brain Surgery!!

Hayden had to have surgery to have a piece of his skull removed and for weeks before the surgery he was telling everyone he was having brain surgery!

Here is the piece of skull they removed!! Hayden got to keep it and the surgeon even drilled to holes it so he could make a necklace out of it! Dave thinks it is pretty disgusting but me and Hayden think it is pretty cool!!

Easter 2009

For Easter this year we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Sheppard's for an Easter Egg Hunt and dinner! It was great to spend time with everyone!

Disneyland Again!

We went to Disneyland again, but this time was different we went with Grandma and Grandpa Neilson, Aunt Lori, Aunt Shannon, Uncle Mark, Emily and Gillian! We have never been with Grandma and Grandpa Neilson so that was a lot of fun! It was great to have Grandma and Grandpa to ride the big rides with the kids.
Mckay was big enough to ride the Matterhorn this time and loved it! His favorite ride was Small World, we all loved it!
